Bill Erickson is Vice President of Operations. He has worked in the seismic industry since 1986.

​

In charge of all recording and field operations, Mr. Erickson is responsible for organizing crews and implementing each job. He is exceptional at building the most effective teams with the right people and skillsets.

In the unprecedented Long Beach 3D seismic survey - the first of its kind - Mr. Erickson managed the project layout, production, deployment and collection of the recording units. His role was integral to the efficiency and success of the project.

Mr. Erickson started his career in Canada where he worked for over 10 years. He has worked in every position within seismic data acquisition, and is experienced with all seismic technology, both cable and cable-free, in the U.S., Canada, and Alaska.

Prior to joining NodalSeismic, Mr. Erickson was chief observer for Global Geophysical. He parlayed that experience to become recording crew manager at CGG Veritas, and later held the same title at MicroSeismic.

Mr. Erickson has had formal seismic instrument training in cable and cable-free systems throughout his 30 years in the industry.

Dietrich Landis is Acquisition Sales Manager. He has worked in the Seismic, Oil and Gas industry since 1979, both domestically and international

Mr. Landis oversees seismic acquisition sales and business development for NodalSeismic.
He is responsible for the lower 48 US region and brings with him a successful sales and business development career in both seismic and Oil/Gas consulting services.  Mr. Landis works closely with Mr. Erickson and clients building company awareness, relationships, and company business. 

Mr. Landis started his career in the wireline services exploring for Uranium throughout Texas and Oklahoma.  He moved into Seismic Data Processing for both contractor and oil company.  He continued to advance his career with a large geophysical spec company (Sales and QA Management)  and then into the consulting business for the Oil and Gas industry. His career has allowed him to learn from both sides of the business -- Contractor and client.
 
Prior to joining NodalSeismic, Mr. Landis was VP of Business Development NSA for the EPI Consulting Group providing geophysical and geotechnical consultancy services to both the oil and seismic industry for the Americas.
